She was very responsive, had really lovely suggestions and carried me along the entire planning process. She ensured every detail was perfect and had my mind at ease. I worked with Julie May Weddings this past December for a proposal and could have asked for a better experience. Nikol was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond for me. My now fiancé loved the whole set up. Nikol made a lifetime experience possible for us in the between city of Prague.
What a great cooperation! Nikola was very organized and agile when I reached to her with a request to arrange an engagement in Prague. As this was a spontaneous request, Nikola had one weekend to organize the engagement. Adding her professional experience and recommendations, she managed to shape my idea into a realization within this short period of time. Although the idea of a simple proposal seemed easy at the first sight, I wouldn't be able to manage everything in such a professional manner, including a recommended photographer. While searching for engagement proposal planners I happened to come across Julie May, and after checking out their site, I knew they would be able to perfectly create my ideal proposal. After reaching out to explore the possibility of working with them, Nikola immediately responded and set up time to meet with me. Despite the time zone difference, she was extremely timely, communicative, and a caring listener throughout the process bouncing back ideas with me and making my proposal better than I could have possibly imagined it to be. From helping me figure out a location given that I've never been to Prague, to getting a photographer, videographer, and getting me tickets to Vrtba Gardens as well as sending someone to my hotel to drop them with the reception as they picked up something I left for my proposal, Nikola can do it all. She's so passionate, positive, and went the extra mile whenever she could such as providing me videos of the proposal venue so that I could navigate it easily the day of and pretending to be a local on the day of just admiring the gardens so that I knew where to turn 😅. She even made the decor of the proposal spot match and color themed based on the ring box which was a very nice touch.
Nikola truly cares about making these moments as special as they can be, and I would highly recommend seeking out her and the services of the Julie May team to create and capture that moment which you'll remember forever. A few months prior to the engagement I reached out to Nikola. After quite a bit of deliberation, we were able to put together a spectacular proposal.
Originally we were scheduled to start at 6pm, however, the weather had other plans. Nikola’s planning helped us navigate and we were able to move things up an hour no problem.
We arrived to Mandarin Oriental for a special cocktail where Nikola was there to greet us at the entranceway pretending to be staff. She asked, “Here for drinks?” We replied, “Yep!” And she asked us to follow her.
Of course - instead of a cocktail bar - she led us to this beautiful private garden. There was a harpist a “Marry Me” sign, a bouquet of beautiful red roses, a photographer, and a videographer.
He said yes and we celebrated with a glass of champagne!
After the proposal we organized a boat ride on the Vltava River with curated hors d'oeuvres and champaignne. Then we followed with incredible dinner overloking the Charles bridge. It was spectacular!

I was looking for a planner to arrange my proposal in Prague. Was googling around and found a few but all of them were trying to sell me packages and location rental which is not my plan. Very very luckily I found Julie-May and started talking to Nikola. She is extremely thoughtful, helpful, prompt in reply and she let me fully customize my proposal in the way I want it! Nikola and her team did really awesome job in scouting for photographer, videographer and location. On the day of the proposal, although there is some slight delay from my side, but everything went perfectly well including the photo and video shooting session. We are very grateful for the arrangement you have done for us and we would like to thank you a million times. My best recommendation for those who are looking to plan for a wonderful proposal and wedding.
I was in search of a way to surprise my girlfriend at the time by asking her to Marry me in Prague, only one problem, I had never been, nor do I know my way around or speak the local language. The day of, we walked into our favorite thing to do, an escape room filled with pictures of us after every puzzle as friends and lovers and exited engaged to be wedded. The package included photography in which they were able to access the best hidden spots to capture the moment. Everything was taken care of from clean up, to last second requests!
